In order to prepare for the week nine quiz, I read Hicks (2013) Chapter six on punctuation three times over. When selecting to attempt the quiz on Moodle, I still felt ill-prepared.
On my first attempt I received seven out of ten. I lost a mark for a question that I did not select an answer for – whoops, lost a mark on a question I genuinely did not know the answer to and lost a mark on the use of commas around the word however. The last mark frustrated me because the correct answer is how I usually use commas around ‘however’. But, I doubted myself after reading the text and selected a different answer.
In any case, I received 100% on my second attempt.
